What’s our Mission?

The 6:52 Project Foundation, Inc.® (6:52 Project) is a black, minority-owned, and led organization whose purpose is to educate, eradicate, and combat stigma associated with marginalized or key populations most impacted by HIV, other STDs and STIs, and racial; social; and gender justice issues. Additionally, the 6:52 Project focuses on issues of importance for women of color and other communities of need.

Who Are We?

The 6:52 Project began leading the way of exploring the complexity of the HIV/AIDS epidemic as it partnered with local, state and national individuals, organizations and corporations in January 2010.

Headquartered in its Founder’s hometown of Gadsden, Alabama, the 6:52 Project’s programming initially focused on serving a tri-county area.  Later, specifically by year three, the focus expanded throughout the state of Alabama, the United States and globally, with a particular interest in the continent of Africa.  The 6:52 Project’s resources will target individuals and organizations whose audience includes those between the ages of 15-65 years.

The 6:52 Project partners with individuals and organizations to produce programs that educate, eradicate, and combat stigma associated with marginalized or key populations most impacted by HIV, other STDs and STIs, TB, COVID-19, and racial & social justice issues. Initial programs centered persons living with and affected by HIV. Because of collaboration with our Board of Directors, Advisory Council, and community representation, these key pillars have now been expanded.

Why The 6:52 Project Foundation, Inc.®?

Founded by Warren Alexander O’Meara-Dates in January 2010, the 6:52 Project was initially only a vision given to him in 2005.  Throughout his career Mr. Dates worked, volunteered and/or created events for individuals, organizations and companies who in some way were affected by someone living with HIV/AIDS.

After discovering his birth time and his personal diagnosis in 2009, Mr. Dates became totally aware of what God’s vision was for him.  Thus, the 6:52 Project was created and began its work of “Making a Difference for Tomorrow’s World, TODAY!”  The 6:52 Project educates the world, promotes the need for research and provides resources for individuals and organizations most impacted by the HIV, other STDs and STIs, TB, COVID-19, and racial & social justice issues.
