The 6:52 Project Speaks has been around since the inception of The 6:52 Project Foundation, Inc.® (6:52 Project) in January 2010, when the founder, Warren Alexander O’Meara-Dates started his personal advocacy for HIV+ individuals and LGBTQIA+ individuals throughout the State of Alabama and up the east coast.

About Our Speakers:

Today, The 6:52 Project Speaks is diverse – in age, ethnic/cultural background, sexual orientation, and most of all, in life experience. We believe that each person impacted by HIV and have LGBTQIA+ identity that is willing to share his/her/their story to educate others has a right to do so safely, within his/her/their own boundaries. Our speakers are individuals living with HIV and/or identify as LGBTQIA+ community members, are allies of these communities, and/or are care providers of these communities who have excelled in their various career fields.

While HIV Prevention & Education has been the primary focus of the 6:52 Project, with the official launch of The 6:52 Project Speaks, our speakers now offer expertise in LGBTQIA+ Inclusion & Fluidity, Establishing Professional Boundaries, Media & Marketing, Non-Profit Management, Organization/Foundation Structures & Operations, Women & Girls, and Sexual Health Care.

Speakers, Trainings, and Consultations:

We train individuals living with HIV, individuals of LGBTQIA+ identity, and their allies (friends, family, providers, concerned community members) to speak and advocate on issues that are important to them – to use their stories as a tool for change.
